Welcome to Localmeals

This site is designed to give people access to information about Cafes, Restaurants, Inns etc. in their local area. From 2012 we are also starting to add Hotels. This will include contact information, photographs and, where possible, menus/pricelists.

Menus, where available, may be presented as PDF files which will require you to have Adobe Acrobat Reader or a similar PDF Reader installed. This can be obtained from the Adobe website http://www.adobe.com

However, it should be borne in mind that prices are constantly changing so any featured on this site MUST be checked directly with the establishment concerned!

To begin with, choose a Town from the MENU to the left. This will take you to a page for that town showing a list of the establishments currently known for that town. The list is spilt into categories such as Café, Italian, Chinese etc.

If you have difficulty reading the pages, you can enlarge the text by holding down the CTRL key on your keyboard and then tapping the + (plus) key. To reduce the size hold down CTRL and tap the - (minus) key. This should work in most browsers.
